Accounting Manager, CPA & Project Budgeting
Overview
The Accounting Manager owns daily accounting operations and project budgeting at scale. You will lead A/P A/R tax filings and month end close while guiding cross functional teams. The role offers hands on accounting leadership in a collaborative environment and a clear path to influence profitability and financial planning.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage daily accounting operations including A/P and A/R to ensure timely, accurate financial data
- 2Design and coordinate tax filings to maintain compliance and minimize risk
- 3Own project budgeting processes and monitor cost tracking to improve project profitability
- 4Collaborate with leadership and departments to support accurate forecasting and financial planning
- 5Analyze project costs and resource utilization to drive profitability and informed decisions
- 6Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports to enable leadership decisions and maintain records
- 7Lead month end close activities and reconciliations with accurate reporting
- 8Partner with Purchasing and Engineering to provide financial insights for project planning
- 9Use QuickBooks and Excel to maintain financial data and reporting
- 10Communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders and provide recommendations
Requirements10
- 1Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
- 2Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience
- 3Hands on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- 4Proficiency in QuickBooks for day to day operations
- 5Experience developing and managing budgets for projects
- 6Experience preparing and coordinating tax filings
- 7Strong month end close and financial reporting experience
- 8Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting
- 9Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments
- 10Sound financial judgment and attention to detail
