Accounting Manager, CPA & Budgeting for Corporate Projects
Overview
The Accounting Manager owns day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on accounts payable, receivable, tax filings, and project budgeting at scale. You’ll partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to enable accurate financial planning and project profitability. This role blends hands-on accounting practice with collaborative leadership to maintain controls and drive clarity across departments.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and manage daily accounting activities including AP and AR to ensure timely and accurate processing
- 2Lead tax filings compliance and coordination to avoid penalties and ensure regulatory readiness
- 3Develop and monitor project budgets, track costs, and analyze profitability for key initiatives
- 4Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to produce reliable financial planning
- 5Prepare and analyze financial reports for stakeholders with clear insights
- 6Own the month end close process ensuring accuracy and deadlines
- 7Maintain QuickBooks records and proper documentation for all transactions
- 8Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- 9Identify opportunities to improve accounting controls and processes for efficiency
- 10Support internal inquiries related to budgets expenses and financial performance
Requirements10
- 1Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
- 2Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience
- 3Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks
- 4Proven experience developing and managing budgets for projects
- 5Demonstrated experience preparing and coordinating tax filings
- 6Solid understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- 7Proficiency in month-end closing activities and financial reporting
- 8Strong Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting
- 9Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 10Sound financial judgment and collaboration across departments
