As a Youth Sports Coach at HERO Inc., you will lead structured recess and physical activity programs for K-5 students across San Francisco elementary schools. - 5Mentor and supervise student leaders as they run activities during recess and school events.
- 6Lead age-appropriate physical activity workshops focused on movement, wellness, and character building.
- 7Use Spanish to engage bilingual students and families, expanding program reach.
- 8Collaborate with school staff to align recess programs with campus culture and needs.
Requirements8
- 118+ years old to apply for the Youth Sports Coach role.
- 21+ years experience coaching or working with K-5 children in a group setting.
- 3Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English to connect with students and families.
- 4Ability to pass a background check and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US.
- 5Physical stamina to lead active games for up to 25 hours per week on playground surfaces.
- 6Experience with Structured Recess or Physical Education models preferred.
