What You'll Do11
- 1Design and facilitate structured recess experiences that promote cooperation, inclusion, problem-solving, communication, healthy risk-taking, and positive peer relationships.
- 2Create developmentally appropriate cooperative and competitive games for diverse student groups.
- 3Teach conflict-resolution strategies using restorative approaches and coach students through disagreements.
- 4Reinforce schoolwide values like Cooperation and Empathy through games and reflective activities.
- 5Train students as peer leaders and positive role models during recess.
- 6Build an inclusive environment where every student feels safe and valued.
- 7Collaborate with teachers and counselors to provide targeted social-emotional support.
- 8Lead middle school athletic teams focusing on integrity, sportsmanship, and leadership development.
- 9Teach sport-specific skills while emphasizing resilience, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- 10Model positive coaching practices that encourage growth mindset and emotional resilience.
- 11Establish traditions celebrating character and collaboration alongside athletic achievements.
Requirements9
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading youth sports programs
- 3Bachelor`s degree preferred in education or related field
- 4CPR/First Aid certification required
- 5Proven ability to create inclusive environments for all learners
- 6Strong understanding of child development and positive youth growth
- 7Experience with social-emotional learning frameworks
- 8Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- 9Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in fast-paced settings
