Wellness Therapy Coordinator, Hyperbaric & Integrative Medicine
Overview
Own the operation of cutting-edge hyperbaric oxygen chambers and integrative therapies at Aervita, a small clinic in Edina, MN. You will run patient sessions, manage the front desk, and keep the clinic running smoothly. Work alongside a close-knit care team and see real patient outcomes daily. This long-term role offers CPC Card certification sponsorship and stable full-time hours.
What You'll Do9
- 1Operate and monitor hyperbaric oxygen chambers, following safety protocols and adjusting settings as needed.
- 2Open and close the clinic independently, managing security and daily procedures.
- 3Conduct patient assessments, prepare individuals for treatments, and assist with ambulation, transfer, and positioning.
- 4Guide patients through Light Therapy and PEMF Therapy sessions, ensuring comfort and safety.
- 5Handle reception duties: answer calls, schedule patients, and collect payments using point-of-sale systems.
- 6Educate patients on therapy protocols and expected outcomes, building trust and adherence.
- 7Monitor patients during sessions, respond to emergencies, and document progress in medical records.
- 8Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of hyperbaric chambers and therapy equipment.
- 9Collaborate with physicians and care team members on patient treatment plans and updates.
Requirements8
- 1Associate's or Vocational degree in Health Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or Respiratory Therapy.
- 2BLS Tier 1 certification within 4 months of hire.
- 3Certified Hyperbaric Technologist certification within 1.5 years (clinic-sponsored).
- 41+ years experience in a clinic, wellness, or spa environment (preferred).
- 5Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently.
- 6Strong bedside manner and communication skills for patient interaction.
- 7Flexibility to work shifts: 7:45am–5:15pm Mon–Thu, 7:45am–3:15pm Fri.
- 8Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a small team.
Salary Insight
$50 - $62k per year
