Overview

Weekend Direct Support Professional (DSP) PRN at King Family Enterprise LLC supports individuals with intellectual disabilities autism and mental health diagnoses. You will ensure health safety and well being of residents in a supportive home environment. What You'll Do11

  • 1Ensure the health safety and welfare of individuals residing in the home at all times
  • 2Implement and monitor Individual Support Plan ISP goals daily
  • 3Maintain a safe clean and nurturing environment meeting physical emotional and personal needs
  • 4Demonstrate knowledge of intellectual disabilities autism and mental health diagnoses
  • 5Apply crisis intervention techniques and foster therapeutic relationships
  • 6Remain compliant with PA Code Chapter 6100 and Chapter 6400 regulations and King Family Enterprise policies and procedures
  • 7Advocate for the rights and dignity of individuals served honoring their personal choices and privacy
  • 8Serve as a primary advocate ensuring individuals voices are heard and respected
  • 9Accurately document daily activities incidents and progress toward goals
  • 10Work weekends as scheduled
  • 11Provide care in a residential or community based support setting

Requirements11

  • 1Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities autism or behavioral challenges
  • 2Ability to work weekends as scheduled
  • 3Current TB/Physical documentation
  • 4Ability to commute reliably to Philadelphia PA 19128
  • 5Commitment to upholding the values and mission of King Family Enterprise LLC
  • 6Previous experience in a residential or community based support setting
  • 7Strong understanding of crisis intervention and de escalation techniques
  • 8Familiarity with therapeutic relationship building processes
  • 9Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • 10Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
  • 11Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic care environment
