Water Spider, Production Floater at Silk City Printing
Overview
Owns material flow across the screen printing department to keep production moving at scale. Collaborates with press operators, quality, finishing, and shipping to ensure materials and supplies are available when needed. Works onsite in Phoenix, provides cross-training support, and contributes to a clean, organized production floor.
What You'll Do10
- 1Builds and maintains material delivery to presses including garments, inks, screens, squeegees, flood bars, pallets
- 2Delivers completed screens to production and returns used screens to reclaim
- 3Stages upcoming jobs and moves completed jobs to the next department
- 4Moves inventory using carts and pallet jacks and replenishes inks and production supplies
- 5Assists with press setups and changeovers and helps load unload garments
- 6Maintains organized work areas around presses and keeps aisles clear and safe
- 7Transfers materials between Receiving, Printing, Quality Control, Finishing, and Shipping
- 8Supports quality inspections and general production tasks to keep workflow moving
- 9Communicates material shortages or production concerns to supervisors
- 10Supports cross-training across multiple production departments
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
- 3Screen printing experience a plus but not required
- 4Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- 5Willingness to learn multiple areas of production
- 6Good communication and teamwork skills
- 7Dependable attendance and punctuality
- 8Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- 9Ability to work overtime during peak production periods
- 10Physical ability to stand, walk, and maneuver around a production floor
