Screen Print Operator, Garment Printing & Production
Overview
Own the screen printing workflow on a fast-paced garment production line at Silk City Printing in Phoenix. You will operate screen print presses, prepare garments, and ensure quality standards are met across multiple jobs. This role focuses on hands-on printing, setup, and adherence to safety procedures to keep production moving smoothly. You will collaborate with supervisors and fellow operators to maintain throughput and quality.
What You'll Do11
- 1Operate screen print presses to print decorative designs on garments and verify colors and logos per work orders
- 2Load and unload garments, feed through dryer, and ensure proper curing and finished quality
- 3Monitor production area for equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime
- 4Train teammates on printing equipment and quality standards to improve overall output
- 5Follow safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant workplace
- 6Read work orders to determine logo placement, color, and design specifications
- 7Check garments, colors, and programs before running each job
- 8Maintain organization and cleanliness of the printing area to support efficiency
- 9Collaborate with supervisor on job specifics and resolve issues quickly
- 10Perform basic math and counting tasks as part of setup and production
- 11Remain flexible with schedule and overtime as needed

- 1Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours per day
- 2Lift up to 25 lbs frequently and able to reach
- 3Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
