Waste Services Operator II (Class B CDL) - Denver
Overview

What You'll Do11
- 1Safely operate automated side loader trucks to collect waste and recyclables along assigned routes
- 2Manage solid waste collection using various equipment including side loaders front loaders and roll off trucks
- 3Document service completion and operational issues using route management technology
- 4Interpret regulations and container suitability to ensure proper waste handling
- 5Respond to public inquiries and provide information within assigned areas
- 6Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections according to federal guidelines
- 7Assist in preventative maintenance of company vehicles
- 8Prepare routine operating reports tracking material collected miles driven and fuel usage
- 9Provide informal training to less experienced operators as needed
- 10Report uncollected refuse and ensure collection completion
- 11Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements8
- 1Valid Class B CDL with appropriate endorsements and no restrictions in FMCSA database
- 2High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 3Minimum two years solid waste equipment operation including one year with ASL or front loader
- 4Ability to read route maps and utilize technology devices
- 5Experience working independently while meeting productivity standards
- 6Physical ability to enter and exit vehicles frequently and work in varying conditions
- 7Strong English language proficiency for public interactions and documentation
- 8Background check passport visa eligibility and drug screening clearance
Salary Insight
$54 - $83k per year
