What You'll Do11
- 1Lead crew operations for residential collections including special services garbage yard waste bulky items and CATS Goldline
- 2Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders through written verbal and interpersonal channels
- 3Make autonomous operational decisions ensuring performance standards and safety protocols
- 4Apply industry knowledge to coordinate crew activities following established guidelines
- 5Prepare and maintain operational administrative reports
- 6Utilize Microsoft Office Emerald Kronos systems
- 7Obtain City Driver’s Permit and hold a Class A or B CDL
- 8Follow complex oral and written instructions during night weekend and holiday shifts
- 9Perform outdoor duties in varying weather conditions climbing up to 12 feet and lifting 100 pounds
- 10Train new hires and demonstrate technical skills using hand tools and light equipment
- 11Drive vehicles regularly including small hand trucks and occasional heavier machinery
Requirements7
- 1Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in manual labor roles
- 2High school diploma or equivalent plus five years relevant work experience
- 3Valid Commercial Drivers License with Class A or B
- 4Ability to lift 100 pounds perform 75% driving tasks and walk five miles
- 5Physical stamina for standing sitting bending and climbing
- 6Strong problem solving abilities and commitment to safety
- 7Prior hands-on experience with waste management operations preferred
