What You'll Do10
- 1Pull product carts from the warehouse floor to the loading dock using pallet jacks and carts.
- 2Move garage doors, hardware, and openers by hand or with forklifts and pallet jacks.
- 3Load doors, sections, and hardware into trailers and box trucks following load lists and scanners.
- 4Lift, stack, and organize products, including overhead lifting up to 50 pounds.
- 5Verify products against load lists using ERP software to ensure correct shipments.
- 6Stage products in designated zones for efficient loading and route organization.
- 7Secure loads with foam, load bars, and poles to prevent damage during transit.
- 8Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely, following procedures.
- 9Report any product, quality, or safety issues to the supervisor immediately.
- 10Assist with closing shipments and preparing shipping documentation in ERP.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 21+ year warehouse, shipping, or material-handling experience preferred.
- 3Forklift certification or experience preferred.
- 4Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly, including overhead lifting.
- 5Comfortable using basic computer systems and ERP software.
- 6Detail-oriented with the ability to follow loading instructions and recognize product labels.
- 7Physically active: stand, walk, squat, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
- 8Team player with a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.
- 9Willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
- 10Reliable and punctual with a sense of urgency.
