Warehouse Process Technician
Overview
We seek a Warehouse Process Technician to join our Charlotte team. This role involves coordinating workflow and supporting core warehouse operations. The position offers growth opportunities and a chance to make an impact.
What You'll Do24
- 1Understand and view production schedules to assign activities meeting customer expectations
- 2Partial picking or pallet picking orders on pallets slip sheets or floor loading of trailers
- 3Label pallets and provide customer specific shipping requirements before loading to trailer
- 4Open bales crates and other containers as necessary
- 5Comply with company policies for received goods
- 6Weigh or count materials management items for distribution within plant
- 7Enter transactions into telnet Oracle or personal computers
- 8Operate power industrial vehicles safely
- 9Arrange multiple ship methods such as LTL and parcel
- 10Load and unload trailers using manual and automated equipment
- 11Prepare and take physical inventory of all merchandise
- 12Utilize Oracle WMS cycle counting program
- 13Assign job duties with Warehouse leaders and coordinate rotations
- 14Monitor work flow and assign/reassign jobs as needed
- 15Release orders and replenishments using Oracle WMS
- 16Follow company protocol for dispatching orders to drivers
- 17Receive materials in the Purchase Order system
- 18Troubleshoot minor scanner system issues
- 19Work across departments to resolve issues
- 20Train new employees in warehousing receiving practices
- 21Maintain warehouse business during leader absence
- 22Follow Leader Standard Work activities
- 23Adhere to regulatory issues including OSHA FDA DOT EPA
- 24Practice safety and hygiene guidelines for housekeeping and personal protection
