Warehouse Associate, Forklift & Material Handling
Overview
You will own material handling across receiving, order pulling, and inventory control at Dal-Tile, the largest U.S. tile manufacturer. Operate crane forklifts daily to move and store product. What You'll Do8
- 1Pull and assemble customer orders, verifying accuracy against outbound paperwork.
- 2Unload inbound shipments, process receiving documentation, and stock material.
- 3Operate crane forklifts to move, store, and replenish inventory.
- 4Conduct daily cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- 5Process customer returns and escalate damaged shipments for freight claims.
- 6Keep the facility clean: sweep floors, empty trash, and maintain restrooms.
- 7Assist walk-in customers and prepare sales slips.
- 8Follow all safety rules and report accidents or unsafe conditions to management.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Certified Forklift Operator with crane forklift experience.
- 31+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
- 4Basic math skills for counting and measuring.
- 5Strong organizational skills and customer service mindset.
- 6Fluency in English for communication and safety instructions.
- 7Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
- 8Ability to lift 15-30 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs with team assist.
