Overview

Owns program-wide viral hepatitis prevention efforts at city scale, aligning outreach, education, and access to services with partners. Collaborates with PDPH divisions, local coalitions, and national partners to advance hepatitis B and C elimination goals. Builds culturally competent strategies to reach high risk populations and supports grant efforts and training initiatives.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build strategic plans for Viral Hepatitis prevention and community collaboration with policy considerations
  • 2Coordinate outreach, education, and access to healthcare services for populations at highest risk for hepatitis B and C
  • 3Support the HepCAP coalition to mobilize city stakeholders and improve delivery of hepatitis C services
  • 4Create and maintain relationships with organizations, community members, and agencies to support coordinated interventions
  • 5Collaborate with state and national partners to advance elimination goals and inform Philadelphia and national priorities
  • 6Facilitate technical assistance to improve service delivery and health outcomes
  • 7Assist in grant writing and submission for local and federal funding opportunities
  • 8Develop and provide training and presentations for at risk individuals and providers
  • 9Develop and maintain online marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, Canva, and social platforms
  • 10Collaborate with coalitions to implement culturally competent access strategies for high risk communities

Requirements10

  • 1Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2Experience in viral hepatitis, public health, and harm reduction highly preferred
  • 3Ability to deliver training and technical assistance
  • 4Strong multitasking and time management skills
  • 5Highly organized and detail oriented
  • 6Proficiency in fact checking and peer reviewed research
  • 7Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • 8Cultural competency with diverse populations affected by viral hepatitis
  • 9Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • 10Experience with Canva and social media platforms
