- 4Assist outpatient and urgent care clinicians with procedures and treatments.
- 5Document patient vitals and observations accurately in the medical record.
- 6Educate clients on at-home care, medication administration, and follow-up needs.
- 7Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and assistants to manage patient flow.
- 8Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for daily operations.
Requirements6
- 11+ year of veterinary experience, preferred but not required.
- 2Basic canine and feline restraint skills for exams and sample collection.
- 3Understanding of core vaccines and preventatives for dogs and cats.
- 4Clear communication skills for client education and team collaboration.
- 5Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with a positive attitude.
- 6Willingness to pursue formal training or licensure, with support from the hospital.
