Critical Care Float Pool RN required for 13 weeks onsite Columbus Ohio contract position. Seeking OH or compact RN license with ICU experience.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build float pool assignments across multiple ICU specialties based on staffing needs
- 2Design and manage ventilator patients across Neuro ICU Surgical ICUs MICU x2 Cardiology Diagnostics CVICU SICU NCCU
- 3Own and deliver comprehensive care including IV starts telemetry and ventilator management
- 4Interpret ABG values and titrate cardiac vasoactive medications
- 5Provide critical care education and support to multidisciplinary teams
- 6Maintain documentation in Epic EMR system
- 7Collaborate with charge nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- 8Adapt to varying patient acuity levels within equivalent or lower acuity units
- 9Complete required Ohio fingerprinting upon contract signing
Requirements6
- 1Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
- 2Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- 3Current BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications
- 4Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- 5Two professional references including one manager or director
- 6Ohio fingerprinting completed within 7 days of contract acceptance
