What You'll Do11
- 1Support daily terminal operations, including dispatch, yard flow, and driver coordination to ensure smooth logistics execution.
- 2Monitor driver schedules, routes, and performance to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries.
- 3Utilize TMS/ERP software for order planning and real-time adjustments.
- 4Track KPIs such as on-time delivery rates and container recovery metrics.
- 5Promote safety protocols and maintain terminal cleanliness while coordinating with fleet and maintenance teams.
- 6Coordinate with logistics and growers to align transportation needs with seasonal demands.
- 7Assist in seasonal planning through route optimization and resource allocation.
- 8Partner with internal/external teams to resolve vendor and carrier issues.
- 9Participate in strategic planning to enhance operational efficiency and team performance.
- 10Provide guidance and support to employees on tasks and procedures.
- 11Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment.
Requirements11
- 12 to 3 years of experience in trucking logistics or transportation operations.
- 21 to 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment.
- 3Bachelor’s degree or certification in Supply Chain Management Transportation Logistics Business Administration or related field.
- 4Strong understanding of TMS ERP and routing software.
- 5Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance standards.
- 6Excellent communication interpersonal skills Spanish is a plus.
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
- 8Experience with Power BI is a plus.
- 9Physical stamina for sedentary work with occasional lifting up to 10 pounds.
- 10Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- 11Work authorization and willingness to relocate if necessary.
