Operations Supervisor, Warehouse & 3PL
Overview
Own daily distribution center operations at a 3PL site in Phoenix, Arizona, leading a team of warehouse staff and reporting to the General Manager. Supervise unloading, loading, inventory control, and shipping, with a focus on high-volume returns and multi-facility oversight. Drive P&L performance, enforce OSHA safety standards, and resolve shift delays. This role requires bilingual Spanish/English skills and 5+ years of warehouse supervisor experience.
What You'll Do9
- 1Lead and coordinate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and shift scheduling.
- 2Implement operational procedures that boost productivity and ensure compliance with company policies.
- 3Monitor inventory levels and partner with the inventory control team to maintain accuracy.
- 4Oversee truck loading and unloading, ensuring proper material handling and safety protocols are followed.
- 5Utilize Manhattan WMS to track inventory, generate reports, and analyze data for process improvements.
- 6Maintain a clean, organized warehouse that meets OSHA safety guidelines.
- 7Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
- 8Investigate and resolve shift delays, ensuring shipping deadlines are met.
- 9Work with the Operations Manager to identify inefficiencies and cost reduction opportunities.
Requirements10
- 15+ years as a Warehouse or Operations Supervisor in a distribution center or logistics environment.
- 2Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, materials handling, inventory control, and shipping/receiving.
- 3Familiarity with 3PL operations is a plus.
- 4Proficiency in warehouse management systems, specifically Manhattan WMS.
- 5Ability to lead a team, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
- 7Proven experience in unload, distribution, and P&L management.
- 8High volume returns and multi-facility oversight experience.
- 9Exceptional organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
- 10High school diploma or equivalent required; exceptional logistics work experience preferred.
Salary Insight
