Transit Hub Coordinator

As a Transit Hub Coordinator, you own the client experience at our Seattle transportation hubs, managing arrivals, departures, and real-time schedule updates for thousands of daily riders. You work alongside a close-knit team of drivers and dispatchers, using TransWest's proprietary ride-booking and scheduling apps to keep everything moving. You are the face of our brand, blending hospitality with precision to make every trip smooth. What You'll Do8
- 1Greet clients as they arrive, providing a warm welcome and clear directions to their shuttle or bus.
- 2Operate TransWest's scheduling software to give real-time departure updates and answer rider questions.
- 3Coach clients on using the TransWest app to book rides, check schedules, and access their accounts.
- 4Coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time departures and safe, efficient loading and unloading.
- 5Track ridership counts and vehicle arrival/departure times using TransWest's data tools.
- 6Identify and report service issues to leadership, proposing practical solutions to improve operations.
- 7Maintain a professional appearance and uphold TransWest's reputation through friendly, approachable service.
- 8Gather client feedback and share insights with the team to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements6
- 11+ years in customer service, with a proven ability to connect with diverse audiences.
- 2Experience in the transportation industry (preferred but not required).
- 3Must be 18+ years old and hold an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- 4Ability to stand and walk for the full shift, often in outdoor weather conditions.
- 5Fluent in English with clear verbal communication skills.
- 6Genuine passion for helping people and maintaining a positive, upbeat demeanor.
