Trade Operations Associate, Order to Cash
Overview
Own end-to-end order-to-cash operations for a global pharmaceutical distributor, handling SAP transactions and resolving escalations for high-volume B2B customers. Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance teams to drive service excellence and compliance in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. Report to the Trade Operations Manager and contribute to cross-functional process improvements. This role offers a contract-to-hire path with exposure to pharma compliance and KPI reporting.
What You'll Do9
- 1Manage order placement through invoicing in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for customers, distributors, and wholesalers.
- 2Resolve customer escalations by coordinating with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, Quality, and Logistics within 24 hours.
- 3Process invoice requests and mail invoices, maintaining records in Excel and Outlook.
- 4Track KPI metrics and generate operational reports for trade performance and order management.
- 5Evaluate and recommend process improvements to reduce cycle times and enhance customer outcomes.
- 6Participate in cross-functional projects to improve service, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- 7Maintain data integrity in SAP and other business systems for accurate reporting.
- 8Support audit preparations and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry requirements.
- 9Respond to customer documentation requests and maintain adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards.
Requirements8
- 13-5+ years in Order to Cash, Finance, Business Analytics, Customer Operations, Trade Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, or Order Management.
- 2Proven experience supporting B2B customers in a regulated industry.
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
- 4Experience with SAP or comparable large ERP systems.
- 5Strong customer service skills with polished phone etiquette and customer-facing experience.
- 6Demonstrated ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize in a high-volume environment.
- 7Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, or distribution industries is a plus.
