What You'll Do11
- 1Diagnose and repair electrical wiring systems including all lights and switches
- 2Perform axle wheel assemblies with hub and drum installations
- 3Troubleshoot air braking systems and height control valves
- 4Complete preventative maintenance tasks like tire pressure checks
- 5Provide guidance to Level B and C technicians and trainees
- 6Document work orders and maintain detailed service records
- 7Adhere to safety standards using PPE and DOT regulations
- 8Conduct inspections and repairs on refrigeration units
- 9Lead complex repairs and recommend long-term solutions
- 10Maintain compliance with SOPs and participate in training programs
- 11Ensure proper lubrication and adjustments on S-cam brakes
Requirements10
- 15+ years building trailer components with Spark and Airflow
- 2Mechanical expertise and advanced technical skills
- 3Strong understanding of trailer systems and DOT regulations
- 4Proven ability to perform complex independent repairs
