Overview
Level A technician responsible for maintenance and repair of semi-trailers ensuring safety efficiency and roadworthiness. Diagnose mechanical electrical and structural issues provide expert recommendations on trailer upkeep. Requires technical knowledge problem solving and ability to work in fast paced environment. This role differs by focusing on mobile technician level A B and C with comprehensive training responsibilities.
What You'll Do11
- 1Independently diagnose and repair trailer components including electrical wiring roofs panels upper couplers and rear door frames
- 2Troubleshoot and repair air braking systems including ABS and height control valves manual and automatic dump valves
- 3Complete axle wheel assemblies installing hub and drum assemblies bearings seals and races
- 4Diagnose and repair electrical wiring systems covering lights 7-way receptacles interior lighting and switches
- 5Perform body and undercarriage damage repairs ranging from panel replacements to structural fixes
- 6Maintain refrigeration units and conduct preventative maintenance such as oil level checks tire pressure greasing fittings and S-cam brake adjustments
- 7Provide guidance and training to Level B and C technicians and trainees
- 8Offer expertise on complex repairs and recommend long term solutions for recurring issues
- 9Complete work orders following SOPs accurately document all work performed and parts listed
- 10Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- 11Adhere to safety standards and use PPE like safety glasses and hearing protection
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in trailer transport industry
- 35+ years maintaining trailer systems and repairing mechanical electrical issues
- 4Advanced knowledge of AWS Certified credentials
- 5Proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker
- 6Certification in Cloud Architecture fundamentals
- 7Experience with Python and React frameworks
- 8Skills in Kubernetes deployment and management
- 9Background in AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- 10Expertise in C4 Technical Services operations
