Overview

The TLP Repayment Associate will own participant debt resolution at scale in Washington D.C. This role leverages expertise in repayment strategies and compliance to drive positive outcomes. Candidates will lead outreach and negotiations while upholding UN standards.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Initiate outreach calls to participants with overdue accounts following legal guidelines
  • 2Review and enter data accurately while documenting contact results and notes
  • 3Respond to participant inquiries via phone or email
  • 4Explore settlement options and perform skip tracing techniques
  • 5Prepare and distribute repayment letters to participants
  • 6Support participants with TLP WebPortal registration and questions
  • 7Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all documentation
  • 8Uphold RMM protection mainstreaming minimum standards
  • 9Alert supervisors to safeguarding concerns or non-compliance
  • 10Perform additional duties as assigned
  • 11Demonstrate proficiency in FDCPA and Microsoft Office Word

Requirements7

  • 1University degree from accredited institution with 3+ years relevant experience or high school diploma with 5+ years experience
  • 2Fluency in English and Burmese required
  • 3Experience in billing collections preferred
  • 4Medical fitness certification and appropriate visas
  • 5Knowledge of IOM official languages with specific Burmese requirement
  • 6Strong verbal communication and persuasive abilities
  • 7High motivation and resilience for dynamic work environment
