You will own the full title processing lifecycle for residential mortgage transactions at Newrez, ensuring every document meets compliance standards. You will manage public title records, tax certifications, and attorney opinion letters while coordinating with clients and outsourced partners to prepare accurate commitments and closing documents. The role sits in a high-volume processing environment where precision and speed matter. You will directly impact borrower satisfaction and regulatory integrity with every file you complete.
What You'll Do9
- 1Obtain and research public title records, tax certifications, and attorney opinion letters for each transaction.
- 2Review title search materials for vesting, requirements, and exceptions to be cleared at closing.
- 3Examine legal descriptions, liens, and judgments to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and state regulations.
- 4Prepare Conditional Clear to Close forms and deliver title materials to clients within SLA deadlines.
- 5Coordinate with outsourced partners to quality-control title commitments and property reports.
- 6Prepare Closing Protection Letters and verify underwriter selection and wiring instructions.
- 7Act as liaison between the company and external clients for title-related inquiries.
- 8Ensure all filings and documentation comply with federal and state guidelines.
- 9Maintain accurate records in Microsoft Outlook and Excel for tracking and reporting.
Requirements8
- 11+ year of title processing or relevant real estate/title industry experience
- 2High school diploma or equivalent
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based systems
- 4Excellent oral and written communication skills
- 5Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- 6Knowledge of standard title processing practices and procedures
- 7Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
