What You'll Do7
- 1Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure precise tile and flooring layouts
- 2Prepare surfaces by cleaning leveling and applying appropriate underlayments or adhesives for optimal installation results
- 3Install various flooring materials such as ceramic tiles porcelain tiles vinyl floors hardwoods epoxy coatings carpet and laminate with attention to detail
- 4Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut shape and secure tiles or flooring materials
- 5Perform floor refinishing tasks including buffing sealing caulking joints and water damage restoration to restore surfaces to their best condition
- 6Follow safety protocols related to building installation safety compliance and handling building materials during all phases of installation
- 7Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret construction plans and ensure timely project completion
Requirements8
- 1Extensive experience in construction estimating and interpreting technical drawings for accurate project execution
- 2Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels chisels saws drills as well as power tools including tile cutters and grinders
- 3Knowledge of installation techniques for epoxy floors vinyl floors hardwoods carpets and tile laying
- 4Skilled in building material installation with an emphasis on flooring systems and fixture installation
- 5Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy materials safely during construction site work
- 6Experience with water damage restoration processes and floor refinishing techniques
- 7Strong understanding of construction site experience with a focus on remodeling projects and building installation safety compliance
