You will lead tile installation crews across Phoenix, owning projects from layout to final grout. You will set high standards for quality, safety, and productivity. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead and supervise tile crews, assigning tasks and directing daily work on active sites
- 2Install floors, walls, showers, backsplashes, and large-format tile to spec
- 3Manage projects from layout and prep through grouting and final punch
- 4Read plans, layouts, specifications, and installation details
- 5Prepare substrates and apply waterproofing with Schluter systems and liquid membranes
- 6Set control lines, slopes, and elevations for proper drainage and fit
- 7Make precise cuts using wet saws and grinders for accurate fits
- 8Coordinate schedules with general contractors and other trades daily
- 9Resolve jobsite issues quickly to keep projects on timeline
- 10Train and develop less-experienced installers in technique and safety
Requirements10
- 15+ years of professional tile-setting experience
- 2Strong knowledge of tile installation methods and best practices
- 3Proven ability to complete tile installations from prep to final grout independently
- 4Extensive experience with showers, waterproofing, and substrate prep
- 5Experience with large-format tile installation
- 6Ability to read plans and understand job layouts
- 7Leadership experience as foreman or crew lead preferred
- 8Familiarity with TCNA and ANSI tile standards preferred
- 9Experience with Schluter, MAPEI, Laticrete, Bostik systems preferred
- 10Reliable transportation and professional communication skills
