Teen Specialist, Youth Development & Club Operations

Own teen program planning and execution at a branch scale, fostering a safe, inclusive environment that supports middle and high school pathways. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and supervise club programs and services to meet priority outcomes
- 2Design and implement teen programming and middle school pathways
- 3Lead planning, development, and evaluation of programs to ensure member needs are met
- 4Own attendance tracking and data reporting on teen participation
- 5Drive member recruitment, retention, and positive partnership with parents and schools
- 6Manage safety, security, and club assets in collaboration with staff and volunteers
- 7Foster inclusive, respectful, and bullying-free club culture
- 8Open and close the club with supervision during operating hours
- 9Promote community partnerships and volunteer engagement
- 10Monitor and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders to achieve goals
Requirements10
- 1Must be at least 21 years old
- 2High school diploma or equivalency and 6 youth development or related experience
- 3Current CPR & First Aid certification within first 90 days
- 4Valid Arizona driver's license
- 5Ability to travel between BGCAZ branches and community sites
- 6Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
- 7Familiarity with youth development service delivery and supervision principles
- 8Ability to communicate with parents and maintain confidentiality
- 9Evening or weekend availability as needed
- 10Knowledge of federal and state laws and club policies
