Teen Service Director
Overview
Leadership professional overseeing program planning development and evaluation for youth aged 13 to 18 at Boys And Girls Clubs Of Greater Kansas City. Manage budgets supervise staff and ensure safe environments while fostering development through diverse programs.
What You'll Do11
- 1Plan and oversee Club programs supporting youth development outcomes
- 2Establish program goals ensuring health and safety standards
- 3Maintain equipment and facilities in good working condition
- 4Allocate work assignments to volunteers provide feedback and appraisals
- 5Develop partnerships with parents community leaders and organizations
- 6Provide leadership at special programs and events
- 7Collaborate with Unit Director and Program Director for operational efficiency
- 8Create Club environment facilitating youth achievement
- 9Ensure continuous evaluation of programs and activities
- 10Increase program visibility through scheduling announcements and information dissemination
- 11Prepare youth for success through targeted programs and services
Requirements7
- 1Four-year college degree with minimum 24 credit hours in child related courses
- 2Minimum two years experience in Boys & Girls Club operations preferred
- 3Valid state CPR and first aid certifications
- 4Valid Class E driver's license
- 5Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control expenses
- 6Knowledge of youth development principles and group leadership skills
- 7Understanding of group dynamics and cultural diversity considerations
Salary Insight
$40 - $45k per year
