Character & Leadership Specialist, Youth Programs & Safety
Overview
Own program development and supervision for youth in a community club setting with impact at a local scale. Lead high-yield art and character development activities under the Program Director, ensuring safe, inclusive experiences for members. Work with volunteers and staff to deliver outcome-driven programs that align with the organization’s mission and values. This is a part-time, onsite contract role with paid training and potential driving responsibilities.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and facilitate programs and activities using a formal curriculum in the assigned area
- 2Directly run programming and high-yield activities to deliver measurable outcomes within 90 days
- 3Lead programs that foster character, leadership, and inclusive attitudes among youth
- 4Plan and execute leadership projects, service initiatives, and events celebrating diversity
- 5Administer outcome measurement tools and maintain a safe, clean, organized program space
Requirements5
- 1Must be at least 18 years old
- 2High school graduate or GED
- 3Passion for working with youth
- 4Proficient with Microsoft Suite and adaptable to new technology
- 5Ability to drive Club vehicles if 21 or older and maintain a valid driver's license
