Technical Sourcer, AI & Robotics Hardware Talent
Overview
Own the sourcing strategy for highly technical roles across software, hardware, robotics, and manufacturing engineering at a niche hardware company. You will build precise talent pipelines, craft research-driven outreach, and drive high response rates from passive candidates. You will collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to define what great looks like and rapidly surface top talent across markets. This role operates in Emeryville or Santa Clara and offers onsite collaboration 2-3 days a week.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and execute targeted sourcing strategies for highly technical roles across software hardware robotics and manufacturing engineering
- 2Own top-of-funnel pipeline development using LinkedIn Recruiter Juicebox Metaview and other internal tools
- 3Write personalized outreach with a 25%+ passive candidate response rate
- 4Conduct qualification screens to assess technical fit motivation and alignment before passing to full-cycle recruiters
- 5Develop and maintain search strings target company lists and talent maps by role family
- 6Partner with recruiters and hiring managers on intake calibration and iterative search refinement
- 7Track sourcing metrics and report weekly on pipeline health
- 8Use AI tools to accelerate research draft outreach variations and identify non-obvious candidate pools
- 9Sustain high-performance recruiting benchmarks in a technical niche market
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree required
- 22-5 years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience at a technical company or staffing firm
- 3Deep fluency with LinkedIn Recruiter and at least one other sourcing platform (Juicebox Gem Findem or similar)
- 4Proven ability to build sourcing pipelines for niche hard-to-fill technical roles
- 5Strong working knowledge of AI tools as a sourcing accelerator (ChatGPT Claude or similar)
- 6Strong written communication skills with outreach that gets replies
- 7Ability to read technical job descriptions and construct sourcing strategy independently
- 8Experience with ATS platforms (Greenhouse preferred) for pipeline management tagging and reporting
- 9Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to iterate on sourcing strategies
- 10First-principles approach to candidate evaluation quality
