Overview

COSMO seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead new product introductions. The role involves owning end-to-end program timelines for connected hardware products. This position aligns with your expertise in managing complex cross-functional initiatives across global teams.

What You'll Do11

  • 1Own the end-to-end program timeline for new product introductions integrating engineering manufacturing and business readiness milestones from concept through launch
  • 2Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering Product Marketing Customer Support and Operations to ensure launch readiness
  • 3Define track and communicate major program milestones readiness gates and decision points while surfacing risks and dependencies early
  • 4Partner with Engineering TPM to align software and firmware execution release readiness and engineering risks
  • 5Collaborate with China Hardware Program Lead to incorporate factory timelines sample availability certification milestones and manufacturing risks into global plans
  • 6Identify and manage cross-functional risks and tradeoffs facilitating timely decisions across scope timeline cost and quality
  • 7Ensure non-engineering teams have clear deliverables and timelines required for successful product launch
  • 8Drive structured communication and documentation to capture decisions changes and dependencies
  • 9Participate in virtual calls with China-based partners during peak development and manufacturing phases to coordinate schedules
  • 10Reduce call cadence to once per week through strong program planning clear documentation and effective cross-functional coordination
  • 11Enable teams to succeed without micromanaging while maintaining predictability and avoiding last-minute heroics

Requirements7

  • 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 27+ years technical program or program management experience in consumer hardware software or connected devices
  • 3Strong understanding of hardware and software development lifecycles
  • 4Experience coordinating globally distributed teams
  • 5Proficiency with Jira Confluence and program planning tools
  • 6Executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • 7Start-up experience in a fast paced ambiguous environment
