Overview
Meta seeks a Technical Program Manager with deep expertise in health sensing and wearable devices to lead end-to-end program execution across its XR Technology team. The role drives algorithm development sensor integration clinical validation and product delivery while coordinating hardware software research and regulatory teams. This position requires ownership of multi-program schedules cross-team dependencies and risk mitigation in a fast-paced hardware constrained environment.
What You'll Do10
- 1Drive investigation definition and delivery of health and wellness programs across Meta's wearable device portfolio
- 2Create development and delivery strategies aligned to hardware integration windows clinical validation requirements and product launch timelines
- 3Manage communication within and between engineering research clinical regulatory and product teams across multiple organizations
- 4Own end-to-end schedule and milestone tracking across concurrent programs identifying and escalating risks before they become irreversible
- 5Coordinate large-scale data collection efforts required for algorithm development and clinical validation
- 6Manage programs through NPI/NTI gate processes from early concept through to regulatory clearance and product launch
- 7Ensure program documents are complete current and available for staff and leadership review
- 8Establish repeatable execution frameworks and process architectures that uplift broader organizations programs
- 9Contribute to resource planning to ensure program success
- 10Up to 25% travel domestically and internationally based on program needs
Requirements12
- 1Experience with NPI/NTI program management and hardware-gated milestone planning
- 2Coordinating cross-functional programs spanning hardware software algorithms and regulatory/clinical teams
- 3Knowledge of program issue bug tracking and risk management
- 4Communicating program status risks and technical trade-offs to engineering teams and leadership stakeholders
- 5Problem-solving and organizational experience
- 6Building relationships and collaborating across four plus organizations simultaneously
- 7Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize redesign workflows and drive measurable impact
- 8Experience adhering to and implementing responsible ethical AI practices including risk assessment bias mitigation and quality and accuracy reviews
- 9Background in health sensing biomedical engineering wearable technology or digital health
- 10Experience with data collection programs for algorithm training and validation
- 11Experience with clinical validation processes regulatory submissions such as FDA or health related compliance frameworks
- 12Ability to integrate AI tools to optimize redesign workflows and drive measurable impact
