Technical Program Lead - Gen AI San Jose
Overview
We seek a Technical Program Lead to drive complex cross-functional technology programs end-to-end. This hands-on role requires challenging teams on substance while balancing engineering data and infrastructure workstreams. The ideal candidate has strong crisis-triage skills and can independently assess program health.
What You'll Do5
- 1Own large cross-functional technical programs including Gen AI/ML workstreams
- 2Plan estimate and report on experimental Gen AI initiatives with uncertain outcomes
- 3Manage dependencies risk budgets and timelines across multiple teams
- 4Lead through influence without authority and resolve technical interpersonal conflicts
- 5Independently evaluate whether workstreams are truly on track versus quietly failing
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Strong crisis-triage prioritization and stakeholder communication skills
- 3Direct experience managing Gen AI/ML programs alongside conventional engineering
- 4Enough technical depth to independently judge Gen AI workstream progress
- 5Proven track record driving large cross-functional technical programs end-to-end
