Overview

Develop and deliver training programs for data center operations ensuring Facilities Operations team proficiency. Lead classroom and hands-on sessions using digital resources. Collaborate with leadership to create customized plans. Evaluate and improve training effectiveness while maintaining a supportive environment. Track certifications and produce detailed reports. Travel up to 35%.

What You'll Do12

  • 1Design and deliver training materials covering electrical mechanical systems telecommunications fire protection environmental controls security safety and emergency response
  • 2Utilize classroom and hands-on modalities to familiarize technicians with equipment programs and procedures
  • 3Facilitate technology-based training through LMS and Microsoft Teams platforms
  • 4Partner with regional leadership to create and execute training plans aligned with team needs
  • 5Conduct ongoing evaluations of training products and programs through independent and collaborative reviews
  • 6Gather learner feedback to enhance future sessions and foster engagement
  • 7Maintain current knowledge of data center facilities operations and QTS processes
  • 8Convey complex technical information in simple language
  • 9Track staff certification renewments and generate status reports
  • 10Review and update training programs for technology and compliance changes
  • 11Prepare reports on training activities staff performance and improvement areas
  • 12Travel up to 35% for training assignments

Requirements11

  • 1Minimum 5 years experience in operations and maintenance within critical environments such as data centers nuclear power generation
  • 2Data center experience preferred
  • 3Documented instructional experience of at least 3 years
  • 4Bachelor's degree in engineering information technology or related field
  • 5Certifications in training facility management or related areas
  • 6Strong interpersonal skills to interface across organizational levels
  • 7Basic project management knowledge
  • 8Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • 9Proficiency in basic data entry
  • 105+ years experience building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
  • 113 years experience creating delivering technical instruction
