Tech Services Writer I - Proposals & Test Plans | Alliance Technical Group
Overview
The Technical Services Writer will own proposal, test plan, and test report writing for source testing projects, working with project managers and data quality analysts. This role manages document flow from draft through client review, using EPA's Electronic Reporting Tool (ERT) and ECMPS. Pay is $22-$25/hour, with a focus on precision and collaboration.
What You'll Do6
- 1Write proposals with scope-of-work personnel, using customer data, permits, and pricing to shape each bid.
- 2Draft accurate test reports with project managers and data quality analysts, revising until client-ready.
- 3Build test plans with technical service coordinators and managers to align with project specs.
- 4Prepare electronic reports using EPA's Electronic Reporting Tool (ERT) and ECMPS.
- 5Track document status and update stakeholders on progress to keep projects on schedule.
- 6Prioritize multiple writing tasks while meeting deadlines for source testing deliverables.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma required; AS or BS in science or engineering preferred
- 2Proficient in Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook
- 3Clear written and verbal communication with clients and regulators
- 4Professional appearance and behavior in a client-facing role
- 5Positive attitude and ability to work in group settings
- 6Strong prioritization and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- 7Flexibility to work outside standard hours to complete projects
