You will own the front counter, drive-thru, and dining room experience at Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q in Knightdale, NC, serving 200+ customers daily. You will coordinate with a team of 10-15 to keep orders accurate and tables clean in a high-energy environment. What You'll Do9
- 1Work the front counter and drive-thru to take orders and handle payments with speed and accuracy.
- 2Deliver plates and drinks to tables, clearing and sanitizing surfaces between guests.
- 3Assemble orders in BOH (back of house) during rushes, wrapping food and filling sides.
- 4Stock napkins, straws, and condiments at stations to keep service moving.
- 5Follow Core 4 Values by greeting each guest with eye contact and a smile.
- 6Handle high-volume periods like lunch and dinner rushes without losing composure.
- 7Complete side work like sweeping, mopping, and wiping down counters before shift end.
- 8Train on POS system and drive-thru headset within the first week to take orders solo.
- 9Lift up to 50 lbs when stocking supplies and restocking the drive-thru window.
Requirements7
- 1No experience required; we train you on POS and food safety.
- 23-5 shifts per week including weekends and holidays.
- 3Able to stand for 6-8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
- 4Willing to work outdoors in drive-thru during all weather conditions.
- 5Positive attitude and a love for serving people.
- 6Comfortable with repetition and routine tasks executed with precision.
- 7Must be at least 16 years old (or meet state minimum).
