Talent Management Coordinator III, Texas Educator Certification
Overview
You will own certification and assignment compliance for Fort Worth ISD, serving 3,000+ educators across 140+ campuses. You are the district's primary expert on TEA and SBEC rules, permits, waivers, and District of Innovation provisions. You will coordinate staffing, hiring, and contract processes while training campus leaders and HR staff. What You'll Do10
- 1Serve as the district's subject-matter expert on TEA and SBEC rules for educator certification and assignment compliance.
- 2Evaluate credentials to determine certification and assignment eligibility for all applicants and employees.
- 3Lead district processes for permits, waivers, and District of Innovation certification provisions, including approvals and tracking.
- 4Develop and deliver certification training for HR staff, campus leaders, and hiring managers, using Laserfiche and Eduphoria.
- 5Coordinate compliance audits, risk assessments, and quality-control checkpoints to prevent placement errors.
- 6Partner with staffing teams to fill vacancies by identifying viable certification pathways and candidate pools.
- 7Oversee hiring workflows to verify credentials and eligibility before placement, resolving escalated issues.
- 8Manage employee contract generation, routing, tracking, and completion across district departments.
- 9Monitor certification expirations, permits, and deficiencies, and communicate required actions to stakeholders.
- 10Use Frontline and Munis to track data, generate compliance reports, and recommend process improvements.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 23+ years of progressively responsible experience in HR operations or data/records management.
- 3Knowledge of Texas certification requirements and TEA rules; experience with Frontline, Munis, Eduphoria, Laserfiche, and TabFusion.
- 4Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting system issues.
- 5Ability to interpret and apply state rules and district policies to certification decisions.
- 6Strong written and oral communication skills for training and consultation.
- 7Skill in developing dashboards and management reports using Excel or similar tools.
- 8Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee data.
- 9Capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- 10Commitment to high professionalism, teamwork, and customer service across district stakeholders.
