Overview
You will supervise teacher interns across the Dallas area, conducting classroom observations and providing coaching to ensure certification success. As a Field Supervisor for Teachers of Tomorrow, you will join a network of former principals and superintendents who mentor the next generation of educators. This remote contract role pairs flexibility with the opportunity to shape teaching quality through evidence-based feedback and compliance oversight.
What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct formal and informal classroom observations per Texas certification standards, using T-TESS and district protocols.
- 2Deliver actionable feedback after each observation, focusing on instructional strategies and classroom management.
- 3Coach interns through reflective questioning and individualized support, addressing performance gaps early.
- 4Document observations in the electronic portal within 48 hours, ensuring objective evidence and aligned next steps.
- 5Monitor intern compliance with program timelines, flagging risks to Regional Field Supervisors.
- 6Serve as liaison between interns and campus administrators, facilitating communication and progress reviews.
- 7Attend monthly calibration sessions to align feedback quality across the supervisor team.
- 8Utilize virtual meeting tools and Microsoft Office to streamline reporting and communication.
Requirements8
- 1Valid Texas Educator Certification required.
- 215+ years in education, including teaching and leadership roles.
- 35+ years as a campus or district leader preferred.
- 4Demonstrated instructional coaching experience with novice teachers.
- 5Proficiency with Teams, Zoom, and electronic documentation systems.
- 6Willingness to travel locally for observations, with mileage reimbursement.
- 7T-TESS Certification preferred.
- 8Reliable internet access for remote work and virtual meetings.
