Own the candidate journey from application to certification at Teachers of Tomorrow, the leading national alternative certification provider. You will coach and mentor up to 100+ aspiring educators, guiding them through state requirements and program milestones. Working from a hybrid or remote setup, you will collaborate with a customer success team across multiple states. This role combines customer service, sales, and mentoring, with a real impact on teacher readiness.

What You'll Do8

  • 1Coach and mentor applicants and interns through the certification process, providing personalized strategic guidance.
  • 2Master Texas Teachers state certification requirements and company policies to advise candidates accurately.
  • 3Manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls and email correspondence, prioritizing candidate needs.
  • 4Drive candidate progress by identifying obstacles and co-creating solutions to keep them on track.
  • 5Build relationships with local school districts and represent the program at job fairs and marketing events.
  • 6Collaborate with state operations teams to support candidate placements and program growth.
  • 7Document candidate interactions in the CRM and maintain accurate records.
  • 8Champion the company's core values in every interaction, ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Requirements8

  • 1Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in an educational or administrative role.
  • 21-2 years of customer service or sales experience, with a track record of building relationships.
  • 3Strong sales and leadership skills, demonstrated in prior roles.
  • 4Superior written and verbal communication, with active listening and empathy.
  • 5Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, especially under pressure.
  • 6Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, and professionalism in past positions.
  • 7Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
  • 8Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment, managing time effectively.
