Overview

MD Systems Administrator provides support for IT systems under TS/SCI clearance. This contractor supports implementation and maintenance of client/server/storage/network devices while handling Tier I help desk and Tier 2 escalations. What You'll Do11

  • 1Build and deploy UNIX and Windows operating systems while maintaining network components
  • 2Diagnose and resolve Tier I help desk issues and escalate complex problems
  • 3Manage daily IT system operations and monitor performance
  • 4Provide service-oriented architecture design for mission-critical systems
  • 5Analyze and resolve server hardware and software integration challenges
  • 6Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers and switches for enterprise networks
  • 7Support dispatch system hardware problems through full lifecycle involvement
  • 8Optimize resource utilization and conduct system capacity planning
  • 9Deliver detailed technical analysis and feedback to agency management
  • 10Maintain SOA principles and understand interdependencies between systems
  • 11Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance

Requirements7

  • 115 years of System Administration experience in similar programs
  • 2Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from accredited institution
  • 35 years additional SA experience may substitute for bachelor's degree
  • 4TS/SCI clearance with polygraph requirement
  • 5UNIX and Windows operating system management proficiency
  • 6Service Oriented Architecture knowledge demonstrated
  • 7Troubleshooting complex hardware and software integration issues
