Overview
The Level 2 System Administrator at Birchmere Group will own IT system support and operations at a mid-sized organization. This role requires a TS/SCI Clearance with a Polygraph to qualify. Responsibilities include managing configuration daily activities providing user assistance and handling Tier 1 and Tier 2 issues. The position emphasizes optimizing system performance and delivering reliable service.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build and design infrastructure solutions using Python and AWS
- 2Lead deployment of React based applications and containerization with Kubernetes
- 3Own and monitor UNIX and Windows operating systems including installations and upgrades
- 4Diagnose and resolve incidents for mobile devices and network components
- 5Analyze system capacity and provide recommendations for resource allocation
- 6Provide detailed reports to agency management regarding escalated tickets
- 7Configure and maintain network devices and storage solutions

Requirements5
- 1Ten (10) years experience as a System Administrator on similar programs and contracts
- 2Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution
- 3TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph verification
- 45+ years experience configuring Spark and Airflow for ETL pipelines
- 5Proven track record of scaling IT infrastructure to meet organizational demands
