Overview

What You'll Do5

  • 1Develop Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA) for avionics hardware
  • 2Conduct Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA)
  • 3Create reliability predictions for avionics components
  • 4Support Fault Tree Analyses (FTA) and Hazard Sheets
  • 5Ensure traceability between subsystem functions and safety artifacts

Requirements5

  • 1B.S. degree or equivalent experience in engineering
  • 22+ years system safety experience
  • 35+ years electronic hardware development
  • 4Experience with MIL-HDBK-217F and PRISM reliability standards
  • 5Strong written and verbal communication skills
