Swim Instructor, Part-Time & Family Experience
Overview
Join Aqua-Tots Swim Schools as a part-time Water Safety Instructor and Family Experience Associate in Orland Park, IL. You'll teach children ages 4 months to 12 years to swim and build water safety skills, working with a supportive team. You'll also welcome families and help them choose the right programs. No experience is needed because we provide paid training, and you'll grow your teaching and customer service skills. This role offers consistent scheduling, pay of $16-$18 per hour, and a chance to make a difference in drowning prevention.
What You'll Do8
- 1Teach swim lessons to children using the Aqua-Tots curriculum, focusing on skill building and water safety.
- 2Communicate student progress to families after each lesson, sharing achievements and next steps.
- 3Maintain a clean, safe, and positive pool area during all lessons.
- 4Welcome families at the front desk, answer questions, and help them select the right swim programs.
- 5Build relationships with families to create a welcoming, supportive experience.
- 6Follow safety protocols and assist with pool maintenance as needed.
- 7Support the team by covering shifts and helping with daily operations.
- 8Participate in ongoing training to improve your teaching and customer service skills.
