What You'll Do7
- 1Train with an experienced mentor to master our proven swim instruction methods and apply them in weekly lessons.
- 2Teach weekly lessons, cheering on student milestones and celebrating progress with high-fives and splashes.
- 3Create positive, trusting relationships with students and parents through clear communication and genuine care.
- 4Prioritize safety for everyone in and around the pool, following Emler's safety protocols at all times.
- 5Stay active and on your feet, coaching kids in the pool and leading games that build water confidence.
- 6Teach classes for kids aged 6 months to 12 years, adapting your approach to each age group's energy and needs.
- 7Maintain a set schedule with evenings and weekends, ensuring reliable coverage for assigned shifts.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of experience working with kids, such as babysitting, coaching, or teaching (swim teaching a plus).
- 2Comfortable in the water and physically active, able to stand and instruct in the pool for extended periods.
- 3Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with strong communication skills for interacting with parents and children.
- 4Ability to work evenings and weekends on a set schedule, with availability for 10-20 hours per week.
- 5Previous teaching or swim experience is preferred but not required, as we provide paid training.
- 6Positive energy and a genuine love for making a difference in children's lives.
