What You'll Do9
- 1Scrub and provide instruments sutures and other sterile supplies during surgeries
- 2Anticipate equipment needs based on patient physician and procedure requirements
- 3Maintain a proper sterile field throughout procedures
- 4Prepare surgical instruments and verify working orders
- 5Assume accountability for instrumentation and return it to decontamination
- 6Participate in team orientation and instruction of scrub personnel
- 7Restock and clean operating rooms and equipment
- 8Maintain a clean safe work area and report unsafe conditions
- 9Assist with performance evaluation of new staff and students
Requirements6
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Associates in Surgical Technology preferred
- 3Basic Life Support certification required
- 4Certified Surgical Technician or Technologist license
- 53+ years surgical technician experience
- 6Minimum 13 weeks travel assignment
