What You'll Do9
- 1Travel across assigned territories to support new hospital accounts, implementing project plans in both the operating room and sterile processing departments.
- 2Build and maintain trusted relationships with hospital personnel, surgeons, nurses, and OR staff during the first 90 days.
- 3Onboard new Technicians by orienting them to hospital protocols and providing on-the-job training or re-training for current staff.
- 4Ensure the highest standards of decontamination, inspection, assembly, wrapping, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- 5Maintain laparoscopic equipment, manage repairs, and replace instruments as needed.
- 6Keep surgeon preference cards up to date to reflect current practices.
- 7Demonstrate professionalism in service, communication, and teamwork with all stakeholders.
- 8Maintain CRCST certification and comply with all credentialing and training requirements.
- 9Lead by example in daily operations to support workflows, sharing best practices for smooth integration of digital tools.
Requirements7
- 1CRCST or CBSPD certification required; if CBSPD, must obtain CRCST within 120 days of employment.
- 2Previous OR/SPD experience required.
- 3High school diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
- 4Outstanding customer service skills with ability to build rapport quickly with healthcare teams.
- 5Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs.
- 6Flexibility for 24/7 hospital coverage including weekday, weekend, holiday rotations, and on-call shifts.
- 7Ability and willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
