Overview
Supply Chain Coordinator owns breakpoint execution for service parts at an OEM, ensuring part availability aligns with dealer and customer demand. You will analyze part-level data, track supplier timing, and drive cross-functional follow-up with supply chain, purchasing, and engineering teams. This role requires structured problem-solving and attention to detail, with direct impact on aftersales service levels. You will work onsite in Detroit, supporting Customer Care and Aftersales operations.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and maintain breakpoints for service parts, validating timing and implementation dates with Excel tracking tools
- 2Analyze part data, inventory positions, and demand signals to flag risks and recommend actions
- 3Coordinate follow-up across supply chain, purchasing, engineering, and operations to resolve part availability issues
- 4Track action items and recovery timing, ensuring decisions are executed within agreed windows
- 5Communicate issue summaries and timing changes to internal stakeholders, with clear next steps
- 6Document records and reports for breakpoint changes, supersession, and supplier recovery plans
- 7Escalate supply or execution risks when customer impact is possible, with proposed mitigation
- 8Improve breakpoint management processes and reporting routines, reducing manual effort
Requirements9
- 11-3 years in supply chain, parts planning, inventory analysis, or aftersales operations
- 2Associate or bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or automotive technology
- 3Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting
- 4Experience coordinating follow-up across multiple stakeholders or business functions
- 5Ability to interpret timing, status, and risk information into clear actions
- 6Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing part, timing, and supply information
- 7Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional updates
- 8Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple open items to closure
- 9Preferred: Experience in automotive service parts, dealership operations, or CCA breakpoint management
