Superintendent - Commercial Construction
Overview
Imperial Construction seeks a Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects in the Dallas area. What You'll Do11
- 1Lead daily field operations planning scheduling and coordination
- 2Supervise field personnel subcontractors and construction activities
- 3Coordinate subcontractor activities and construction sequencing
- 4Review work and materials for compliance with contract documents and quality standards
- 5Maintain a safe organized and productive jobsite according to safety standards
- 6Identify field issues early and develop practical solutions
- 7Coordinate day-to-day jobsite activities with project management and team members
- 8Communicate effectively with owners architects subcontractors and suppliers
- 9Lead field-related project meetings and document discussions
- 10Monitor progress and report field conditions that may affect schedule quality or execution
- 11Serve as Imperial’s primary field representative and project point of contact
Requirements13
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred but not required
- 2Minimum of five years commercial construction field leadership experience
- 3Previous superintendent role on commercial projects valued at $30 million or more
- 4Strong record of hands-on field leadership and project experience
- 5Experience supervising field personnel subcontractors and construction activities
- 6Deep knowledge of commercial construction methods sequencing quality standards and jobsite safety
- 7Proficiency with scheduling organization multitasking and problem-solving
- 8Ability to manage multiple field priorities while maintaining momentum
- 9Effective communication with owners architects subcontractors and suppliers
- 10Working knowledge of Microsoft Office email scheduling software Procore and related construction technology
- 11Portfolio of large complex commercial construction projects
- 12Current residence within a reasonable daily commute of Dallas
- 13Three references from project owners and/or architects on previous projects
