Overview
You will own field operations for ground-up, interiors, and renovation projects across the DFW metroplex. You will join a team of Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Project Engineers known for safety, communication, and teamwork. What You'll Do9
- 1Lead daily field operations for ground-up, interiors, or renovation projects, coordinating subcontractors and vendors to meet schedule and quality targets in the first 90 days.
- 2Drive safety compliance on-site, enforcing OSHA standards and company protocols to maintain a zero-incident culture.
- 3Manage project schedules, tracking progress with Procore and Bluebeam to ensure milestones are met on time.
- 4Coordinate with project managers and architects to resolve design and field issues, using AutoCAD for change management.
- 5Supervise field engineers and assistant superintendents, mentoring them toward superintendent roles.
- 6Conduct daily and weekly site walks, documenting progress and risks with Fieldwire and PlanGrid.
- 7Support preconstruction for estimating and value engineering, leveraging RSMeans for cost analysis.
- 8Communicate daily with clients and stakeholders, building trust through transparent reporting and proactive problem-solving.
- 9Ensure quality control by inspecting work against specs and LEED requirements, delivering punch-list excellence.
Requirements10
- 17+ years of commercial construction experience for Superintendent and Preconstruction roles, with ground-up, interiors, or renovation exposure.
- 21-3 years of commercial construction experience for Assistant Superintendent roles.
- 3Entry-level Field Engineer and Project Engineer paths open to recent graduates with construction management or engineering degrees.
- 4Proven track record managing K-12, Healthcare, Mission Critical, or Office projects.
- 5Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and ability to enforce them on active job sites.
- 6Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD for daily documentation and coordination.
- 7Experience with LEED and sustainable construction practices preferred.
- 8Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to inclusive teamwork.
- 9Valid driver's license and ability to travel across DFW for project assignments.
- 10Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications accurately.
Salary Insight
$55 - $150k per year
