  • 5Assisting with cable tray installation and support hardware
  • 6Following standards in cable formation dressing and labeling
  • 7Providing technical assistance with pulling terminating and testing copper and fiber cables
  • 8Participating in implementing codes standards and practices
  • 9Examining and testing client copper and fiber cabling
  • 10Identifying and resolving copper and optical fiber issues
  • 11Adapting installation techniques for administrative ease
  • 12Utilizing various copper fiber and termination hardware
  • 13Supporting training through awareness of technological changes
  • 14Collaborating with teams on infrastructure activities
  • 15Serving as single point of contact for vendors
  • 16Conducting site surveys reading blueprints and cut-sheets
  • 17Planning project scope and maintaining compliance with regulations
  • 18Using termination and testing procedures daily
  • 19Maintaining accurate installation and repair records
  • 20Applying certified standards for termination procedures

Requirements9

  • 1Minimum 2-4 years experience in Structure Cabling and Implementation
  • 2CTS certification preferred
  • 3BICSI certification preferred
  • 4Familiarity with AV systems including Crestron Extron Biamp
  • 5Flexibility with hand tools such as punch tools test equipment and power tools
  • 6Basic understanding of network cabling infrastructure
  • 7Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
  • 8Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
  • 9Valid driver's license for local or remote travel
